Fairly new band Impact Zone just put out a demo tape through Life.Lair.Regret Records out of Melbourne. Pretty much just straight up straight edge hardcore. I'm pretty bad at saying what bands sound like but this gives me a Agnostic Front/SSD Vibe mixed with a but if Oi. WAR OF ATTRITION.

First heard this band through a Melbourne label releasing the demo via tape. Now later on down the track that demo got pressed to wax courtesy of Carry The Weight and Atonement Records. XrepentanceX are a vegan straight edge band from the UK with that early 90's metal core sound FFO: Unbroken, Starement Etc etc. 100 copies on clear vinyl, one of my most played demos of 2013 I've read the band has an LP coming out soon so I'm looking forward to that.

JAPANESE NIGHTMARE.

Palm are a Japanese band that play a brand of music similar to converge and similar acts. This is the new LP "My Darkest Freinds" put out by Six Feet Under records. To be honest I'd never heard if the band till the announcement of the Australian shows they are currently doing so I checked them out and was into what they were doing. My freind Ryan put on the shows in perth so I went down and checked them out last night. And they lived up to the expectations I had of 

seeing them i suggest checking them out if they haven't played in your state yet.

Artwork is done by Jacob Bannon of Converge if in not mistaken.

Red vinyl /100 which is a tour only version I think. They'll band also had another version which were left over from us shows with green artwork but they had sold on the first few shows which sucks.

BLOOD BUBBLE.

Slept on picking up the new 7" by Chicago's Violent End as I couldn't find one online anywhere for a long time, until I found REVHQ Store. As with all the bands with the "Violent" theme in the name this isn't a let down, killer hardcore bit of a continue on of the demo i think. featuring members of Vile Gash, Raw Nerve, Manipulation and a bunch of others. Black vinyl pressed by Lengua Armada records.

QUICKSAND.

The Others have been around since about 2008 and in that time the band has released a Demo cd, S/T cd, Sun & Sea 7", a Promo Tape for the LP and of course the new record titled "Red Eyes".

Split release by a new local label Shaman Records and Six Feet Under Records from the US.

Never Settle are a young new band from perth all aged between 17-18 playing almost a youth crewesque style of hardcore. Captain Cleanoff/The Kill Split 7" both bands hailing from Melbourne and both Play straight up no bull shit grind.

Black vinyl put out by Psychocontrol Records. If you are into grind I suggest picking up anything by either of these bands.

THE BOTTOM RUNG.

Mood Swing are a new band hailing from Sydney playing a brand of hardcore that could easily fit on the likes of the BBB and B2B records crew. This is the Endless Cycle Demo tape put out by Deaths Grip Records.

Stickered B side label and a hand written message on the A side " Listen 2 Downside".
